WHY IS CHRISTLIKENESS SO IMPORTANT?

Honestly, haven’t we all been guilty of talking about Christ but not accurately reflecting Him? Here’s the scary part. Non-believers vet us by who we are, not what we say. To them, the words of Yoda or Spock are just as profound as those of Jesus. When we start talking, they are asking themselves questions – not just about Christ, but about us.  They don’t care what we believe about Jesus unless they recognize our belief has changed us into someone they admire and want to become like.”

VISION FOR THE JESUS GALLERIES

What is Your Prayer?

My wife, Cathy, and I love to drive the back roads of Tennessee, walk the narrow streets of an old European city, find tourist-free restaurants, listen to street musicians, and share the awesome panoramic views of a green countryside or blue ocean. With this in mind, you are invited to come and explore some new vistas of the Christian journey. On the way, listen for heart-tugging melodies resonating in your soul. Seek private moments for personal revelations. Various sights may catch your attention and spark conversations on the way. That’s a good thing – and a God thing. Oddly, God seems to favor those who come to Him via the scenic route. He likes it (maybe by design) when we individually grope our way to find Him and work out our own spiritual wholeness (Acts 17:27; Phil 2:2). As we journey together, I pray you will hear His Voice, and see familiar things in an unfamiliar way, leading you to experience Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).

Is The Jesus Galleries a Series?

That’s a real possibility.  Someone suggested I write a similar book designed for readers who are not yet Christians, either for lack of knowledge or because they feel offended or turned off by church or church people. I have recently finished a draft of that book to be titled, At Face Value – The Modern Art Jesus Galleries. My wife and I have taught couples classes for years, and we have discussed collaborating on The BEST Marriage – The Jesus Galleries for Couples. Other ideas have surfaced like DWI or traumatic event recovery, and your suggestions are invited.  Connect with us via email or social media (see Contacts}.
